Sydney's Aerotropolis will be called 'Bradfield' after Sydney Harbour Bridge engineer

Sydney's future aerotropolis has been officially named 'Bradfield' in honour of the engineer behind the construction of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Bradfield will be recognised as Sydney's "third city centre" alongside Sydney CBD and Parramatta.

The city is hoped to become a Western Parkland hub. connecting the western suburbs with Parramatta and the Harbour CBD.
